Evil lyn8/26/2023 I was definitely a fan, and now I’ve got the action figure, which is pretty good, too! THE FIGURE ITSELFĮvil-Lyn is another figure from the inaugural series of Masters of the Universe: Masterverse. She’s usually Skeletor’s right hand, but Revelation takes her much further beyond that, and presents her as a very complex character, with one of the show’s most involved arcs. So, umm, what am I reviewing? Evil-Lyn, the evil-est Lyn out there. Even crazier if I spent almost my entire intro paragraph talking about it, instead of actually talking about the item I’m reviewing. I certainly didn’t actually get these two figures a couple of weeks apart from each other. And I didn’t take several days off between these two reviews that you’re reading back to back. …And onto the rest of the line! Hey, that was pretty quick, right? Almost like I….planned it that way. There are quite a number of them in the fandom and on this forum, and they are not going in the closet because some straight people are uncomfortable.EVIL-LYN - REVELATION MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: MASTERVERSE (MATTEL) Sorry, but the existence of LGBT people is not something shameful that can only be whispered about in secret. it is only appropriate for adults in a restricted forum. it is appropriate for all ages in an open forum, and another for gay and lesbian relationships, i.e. Are those heterosexual issues that can only be discussed in the Tar Swamp? It is heterosexist to have one standard for discussing heterosexual relationships, i.e. To me and many others MOTU is an island of sanity away from such things.Randor and Marlena are married. I'm very opinionated about macro economics, but don't really care to discuss King Randor's views on Central Banking. Some times people just want to talk about characters and figures without going into all that stuff. The tar swamp is a fine place to discuss LGBT issues. Not everybody wants to see such things in MOTU, regardless of how they feel about the issue in the real world. And of course Keldor's transformation to Skeletor has been a huge factor too. So confronting the various canons and storylines, the answer is yes, Skeletor and Evil-Lyn have been lovers, at a certain point of their lives, but their relationship has been ended or turned to a toxic one, mostly because of their personal ambitions, their fight for dominance, and their search for more power. Though Skelly in the same canon, during his years on Etheria as Hordak's general, he was madly in love with Shadow Weaver, but their relationship didn't end well, because of Shadow Weaver's devotion to Hordak and her adopted daughted Adora. And it was Evil-Lyn that brought Skeletor back, at the end of the Eternity War. In the DC comics, their relationship is not very clear, if they are just allies or more, though in the crossover with the DC Universe, when Constantine asked Evil-Lyn if Skeletor is her "boyfriend", Evil-Lyn answered, that "Skeletor is not a boy and not just a friend", implying that they were more close. In the Classics Canon it was revealed that Keldor and Evil-Lyn, were not just lovers, but they have been married, with Lyn giving birth to their son, but after Keldor's transformation, she gave him to Spector, for taking him in the future, and keep the child away from Skeletor. Though in the 3rd arc of the MVC comics, it has been shown that they still have feelings for each other, a love and hate relationship, that was poisoned, by their mutual thirst for power. But when Keldor turned to Skeletor by Hordak, the transformation, drove Skeletor to madness, and this eventually ended their relationship. The young Evil-Lyn has been shown to be impressed and attracted by Keldor as he was by her, and they eventually get together, and it was Evil-Lyn that saved and bring Keldor to Hordak's sanctuary. In the 200X cartoon, it was strongly hinted that Skeletor as Keldor, and Evil-Lyn have been indeed lovers. I was just curious if Skeletor and Evil-Lyn were lovers? And what was their story? In the 87's movie, there is a scene between Skeletor and Evil-Lyn, which is a clear evidence, that they were much more than just simple allies.
